Get naked and hug eucalyptus

Berkeley, California, USA

July 2015

Approximately 50 to 75 protesters gathered at a eucalyptus grove on the University of California, Berkeley campus to oppose a Federal Emergency Management Agency-funded plan to remove thousands of eucalyptus trees. Many of the participants stripped naked and posed with the trees in a photo-event organised by Tree Spirit Project in order to dramatise their connection to nature and draw attention to the tree-clearing proposal.
